This is one of those coffees that quietly sits in the lineup and ends up completely surprising you.
I didnβt realise at first that Doora Farm is closely connected to Alo Village through Tamiru Tadesseβs partnership. Once I found that out, I naturally expected a certain level of quality. Thankfully, it delivered exactly that.
What I love most about this coffee is how much fun it is to drink. The cup is incredibly approachable, sweet, and easy going, but then this beautiful matcha-like finish appears and lingers on the palate. It is unexpected, distinctive, and keeps pulling you back for another sip.

ALO Coffee
Founded by Tamiru Tadesse in his hometown of Alo Village, Bensa, Alo Coffee champions organically grown, high-elevation cherries from local smallholders. With eight stations ensuring fast delivery and strict quality control, Alo quickly rose to global recognitionβwinning 1st place at the 2021 Ethiopia Cup of Excellence.
Doora is Aloβs sub-brand, created by Tamiru and his wife Messi to focus on high-commercial G1 coffees. It took 1st place in the 2025 AFCA Taste of Harvest (washed category). In 2023, we partnered with Tamiru to create the first Doora custom batches accessible, high-value coffees produced at the Gute and Konga stations.
